Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a leader to join our team supporting nuclear design across the industry, focusing on leadership of technical electrical engineering teams. This role is based at multiple sites including Fort Worth, Plano, TX, with opportunities for engagement across the nuclear services group.

You will approve designs, mentor engineers, and build strong client relationships to drive project success while maintaining high standards for quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• PE license required; 6+ years in design engineering for power generation or nuclear power, with at least 2 years as a lead.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit in design approval and mentor engineers.
• Direct/assign work, approve timesheets, and manage annual performance appraisals.
• Ensure quality and certify design documents per codes.
• Develop client relationships and assist marketing the unit's capabilities.
• Support project budget and schedule; approve engineering documents.
• Lead proposals with scope and budget input.
• Support recruitment and staff development.
