ENERCON is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Nuclear Design Group. The role offers growth from mid-level to principal engineering paths, with opportunities to mentor, lead projects, and advance through training and development programs.

The position includes collaboration across engineering disciplines, design studies, procurement, field visits, and startup support, with travel up to 10% and a focus on safety and technical excellence.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience designing electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government DOE projects.
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute as an individual and as a team member.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required by federal contract.
• Approx. 10% travel.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate Across Disciplines: bridge engineering teams for cross-discipline coordination.
• Shape Project Success: develop design studies, define scopes, and create estimates.
• Master Procurement & Installation: draft specs, evaluate bids, select solutions.
• Perform Precision Calculations: execute essential electrical calculations.
• Think Creatively: provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Be Hands-On in the Field: travel to sites, perform walkdowns, oversee installations and startup activities.
• Lead and Inspire Teams: motivate teams to achieve project goals.
