Job summary

ComTec Information Systems (IT) seeks an Engineer Electrical for the New Nuclear program at Richland, WA. The role entails independent engineering tasks for design modification, operation, and assessments of nuclear facilities, with advisory duties toward owners engineer oversight and construction reviews.

Responsibilities include reviewing NRC/NEI/EPRI guidance, scheduling inputs, and providing technical leadership across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7+ years of engineering experience.
• PE license required or obtained by accredited examination with 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with high, medium and low voltage design and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex engineering analyses and designs per codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and training on complex projects; mentor engineers.
• Participants in design reviews and NRC/NEI/EPRI documentation interpretation and compliance.
• Support licensing, construction permits and design reviews for advanced reactor technologies.
