ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a New Nuclear Electrical Engineer III to provide technical leadership in ensuring engineering activities meet design basis and regulatory requirements. The role supports Owner's Engineer oversight, advanced reactor evaluations, and design-build contracts in Richland, WA.

The position emphasizes broad technical capability, problem solving, and experience in large construction projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university; PE license desirable.
• At least 7 years of engineering experience in related fields.
• Knowledge of advanced nuclear reactor and plant design (e.g., HTGR).
• Experience with large construction projects and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex engineering analyses in support of operations, systems, programs, audits, and assessments.
• Develop highly complex engineering designs using applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership on highly complex or long-term projects and mentor engineering staff.
• Apply advanced technical expertise and innovative problem-solving to address challenging engineering issues.
• Interpret regulatory guidance and ensure compliance with design basis requirements.
