ENERCON is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. This role focuses on design studies, calculations, and coordinating across engineering disciplines to drive successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience with design of electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Develop design studies and perform engineering calculations and analyses; attend project meetings; conduct field walkdowns.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence and innovation.
