Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop design studies, perform calculations, attend project meetings, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) with 3+ years in design of electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls) and experience in power generation, nuclear, or government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship is required due to Federal Contract Requirements.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate across disciplines and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Develop innovative design studies and create engineering estimates.
• Draft detailed electrical equipment specifications and evaluate bids.
• Perform essential electrical calculations for designs and installations.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration.
• Travel to project sites to oversee installations and start-up activities.
• Contribute to project management and ensure quality and compliance.
