ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Design Engineer to join the Nuclear Design Group. The role offers pathways to senior roles and leadership opportunities, with ongoing training and career progression.

Responsibilities include design studies, calculations, field walkdowns, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have ABET-accredited electrical engineering education, 3+ years of relevant experience, EIT preferred, and US citizenship. Travel ~10% is anticipated.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
• Experience on power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects either directly or with an engineering/design firm.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design work.
• Develop design studies, perform calculations and analyses, and prepare engineering documentation.
• Attend project meetings and conduct field walkdowns as required.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Lead procurement activities, draft specifications, and evaluate technical bids.
