ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in Charlotte, NC. The role offers a path to senior and principal positions with opportunities for growth and leadership across multiple project types.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, develop design studies, perform calculations, and mentor junior engineers while traveling to project sites as needed. A strong background in electrical design and nuclear or DOE experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless project integration
• Develop design studies, define project scopes, and create accurate engineering estimates
• Draft detailed specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate technical bids, and select top-tier solutions
• Execute essential electrical calculations that form the foundation of designs and installations
• Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges
• Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns, oversee installations, and support start-up activities
• Lead and inspire teams to achieve project goals and results
