Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• EIT preferred.
• Writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines: bridge between engineering teams for seamless integration across project disciplines.
• Shape project success: develop design studies, define scopes, and create accurate engineering estimates.
• Master procurement & installation: draft specifications, evaluate bids, and select top-tier solutions.
• Perform precision calculations: execute essential electrical calculations for designs and installations.
• Think creatively: bring innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and push projects forward.
• Be hands-on in the field: travel to sites, conduct walkdowns, oversee installations, support startup activities.
• Lead and inspire teams: foster a positive, goal-oriented environment to empower teams.
