Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in King of Prussia, PA. This full-time role offers opportunities across design studies, calculations, and mentoring junior engineers as you advance toward senior positions.

You will collaborate across disciplines, prepare engineering analyses, travel to project sites, and contribute to technical excellence. A ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree and 3 years’ experience are required; US citizenship

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• EIT preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate project design.
• Develop design studies; perform engineering calculations and analyses.
• Attend project meetings and conduct field walkdowns.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead teams when needed.
• Travel approximately 10% to project sites.
• Lead and inspire teams to achieve project success.
