Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern for our Nuclear Design Group in the United States. The internship offers exposure to plant modifications, safety analysis, licensing renewals, and environmental services at nuclear facilities.

Ideal candidates are ABET‑accredited Mechanical Engineering students who can start between May and June 2027, travel to sites, and communicate effectively. This is an onsite internship with opportunities for growth in a dynamic energy ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Preferred graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to client sites and work outdoors.
