Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of nuclear engineering work across EPC and design-build projects. You will oversee multi-discipline teams, balance scope, budget, and schedule, and ensure client expectations are met.

The role requires 15+ years of complex project management in nuclear engineering, a related technical degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related technical field (15+ years of experience preferred).
Five+ years’ experience in engineering design within nuclear markets is preferred.
PE license is highly desirable.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to manage projects and lead a team in a complex environment.
Willingness to travel as demanded by clients and project needs.

Responsibilities

Overall management of the project engineering and design team.
Direct development and execution of the project execution plan (quality, deliverables, schedule, budget, staffing, risks).
Monitor progress and take corrective action; report to senior management.
Lead client engagement and maintain positive client communication; develop future opportunities.
