Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions seeks a Design Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design of EPC and design-build nuclear projects. You will supervise multi-discipline teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure scope, budget, and schedule are met across complex programs in commercial nuclear and DOE spaces.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field with 15+ years of complex experience.
• PE license is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the project engineering and design team.
• Direct development and execution of the project execution plan (quality, deliverables, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, change).
• Monitor progress with project controls and take corrective action if needed.
• Communicate project status to senior management with regular reports and presentations.
• Lead engineering portion of project pursuit/proposal with scope, schedule and cost estimates.
• Provide technical expertise and coordinate with clients and team members.
