Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5+ years in electrical system design for industrial or nuclear projects.
• Experience in selecting equipment, preparing design packages, calculations, and specs.
• Design of low and medium voltage distribution systems; transformers, generators, motors, relays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform Power System Studies and detailed AC/DC calcs (short circuit, voltage drop, arc-flash, motor starting, relay coordination).
• Develop and review equipment specifications.
• Participate in bid evaluations and vendor Q&A tracking.
• Design development: scoping, constructability reviews, lighting, communications, security systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients; travel to client/vendor sites.
