Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing seeks a Construction Manager to join the nuclear projects field implementation team in Richland, WA. This on-site role involves coordinating with nuclear contractors, HP/RP personnel, and station staff to ensure capital projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Night shifts may occur during outages, requiring initiative and strong leadership across construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial nuclear power plant experience required.
• Experience managing large-scale external contractors required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, cost and schedule management, subcontract administration.
• Experience executing work in radiological areas (nuclear) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a construction team to ensure project activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality.
• Communicate daily with leaders for direction and feedback.
• Present project status to internal customers, including technical, organizational, and financial issues.
• Perform complex analysis of problems involving construction activities.
• Develop innovative strategies to achieve milestones and priorities.
• Monitor safety, cost, schedule, and quality performance and report status.
