Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to head the NTI/NPI manufacturing engineering team. The role focuses on process development with strategic input and cross-functional collaboration.

The selected candidate will mentor teams on Unison policies and product development (UIEP 4.2, APQP) and MRL readiness, support bid estimates and design reviews, and drive best-practice execution with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 5 years of Industrial/Manufacturing/Design Engineering experience, preferably within NPI, OR; a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of Industrial / Manufacturing / Design Engineering experience, preferably within NPI.
• Experience leading a technical team.
• Understanding of Unison product development policies and procedures.
• Understanding of NTI/NPI development process and relation to tollgate process.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing engineers for the NTI/NPI process.
• Provide direction and mentoring on Unison policies and procedures.
• Mentor on product development including UIEP 4.2 and APQP guidelines.
• Mentor on AS13100 compliance.
• Support MRL assessments and readiness for products.
• Estimate labor and tooling needs for bids and proposals.
• Contribute to design and manufacturing reviews.
• Lead tactical manufacturing engineering tasks as needed.
• Serve as a best-practice resource for the team.
