Job summary

GE Aerospace in Dayton, OH is seeking a Sr. Launch Manager – NPI to lead the introduction of new products from certification to rate production.

You will drive cross-functional teams across supply chain, manufacturing development labs, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and target cost. The role requires strong project management, risk assessment, and clear communication to align management, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 10 years in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of aerospace manufacturing/engineering and/or NPI experience.
PM skills, cross-functional leadership, and ability to manage risk and schedule.
Experience with MRL, PPAP/APQP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams through NPI tollgates and readiness reviews.
Provide cost and schedule inputs for NPI program plans across manufacturing processes.
Define supply chain and strategic plans for new product proposals.
Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA).
Organize projects for new product introductions, new equipment, layout, and optimization.
Shape strategy for resource control and policy in your area of responsibility.
