Job summary

Unison, a GE Aerospace company, is a leading provider of differentiated engine controls and performance monitoring solutions. The role leads a manufacturing engineering team focused on NTI/NPI process development, with input into strategy, priorities, and policy implementation.

The position requires experience in manufacturing/design engineering, team leadership, and familiarity with APQP, AS13100, and MRL processes. It includes guidance on labor estimates, bid support, and manufacturing reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years manufacturing/design engineering exp, preferably within NPI.
• High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of industrial/manufacturing/design engineering experience, preferably within NPI.
• Prior management experience of a technical team.
• Understanding of Unison product development policies, procedures and NTI/NPI process.

Responsibilities

• Lead a specific team of manufacturing engineers for the NTI/NPI process.
• Provide direction and mentoring on Unison policies and procedures.
• Provide direction on APQP guidelines and Unison product development.
• Provide direction on AS13100 compliance and MRL assessments.
• Support labor and tooling estimates for bid/proposal efforts.
• Input to necessary business P&E estimates and reviews.
