Job summary

RTX is seeking a NSMS Program Operations Manager in Tucson, AZ to lead cross-functional teams and serve as the primary interface between Program Office and factory leadership. This onsite role supports manufacturing sites on a technically complex, high-dollar defense program and requires spending significant time in plant environments.

You will coordinate program requirements, drive schedule and budget, and ensure compliance with OPSEC and security clearances.

Qualifications

• University degree and 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing with complex systems integration across multiple factories.
• Experience with Proposals, Estimating, Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Experience managing cost and schedule for complex production or development programs in a cross-functional environment.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government clearance required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across operations and manufacturing.
• Drive quality and performance for program deliverables, accountable for factory integration and program performance.
• Participate in strategic Program/Operations planning for current production and future development.
• Support OPSEC plan execution and influence security strategies.
• Communicate across programs to identify, assess, and resolve conflicts with program requirements.
• Define clear operational schedules, priorities and goals for each Strategic Make Center.
• Coordinate and develop operations requirements for all gate reviews and implement strategies from early gate reviews.
• Own the Program’s Operations EAC and budget.
• Prepare and present information for Monthly Management Reviews.
