Job summary

RTX is seeking a System Security Engineering (SSE) Program Lead at our Tucson, AZ site. The role will oversee SSE program execution, lead an SSE team, and interface with the customer during reviews and technical demos to ensure secure, compliant system designs for DoD programs.

The candidate will develop requirements, plan implementations, and coordinate with program management on cost, schedule, and technical trade-offs in a dynamic, agile environment. On-site in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required.
• Experience in technical leadership and SSE.
• Experience with DoD programs and secure systems technologies.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and program protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead SSE program execution and teams.
• Integrate SSE solutions into RTX products.
• Interface with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, costs and impacts.
• Plan, estimate, track, and mitigate risks for SSE activities.
• Guide SSE implementations in customer systems.
• Advise program management on SSE architectures and issues.
• Develop top-level system requirements and flow down to subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD release and export policies.
• Assist in bids and proposals; work with EVM.
