Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, seeks a qualified Quality Assurance Team Lead for our Los Alamos, NM project with N3B. You will lead QA program implementation, guide auditors, and ensure compliance with NQA-1, DOE 414.1D/F, and 10 CFR 830.

The role focuses on field surveillance, supplier evaluation, and nonconformance management. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in QA and at least 2 years as Lead Auditor, with strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills,

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in QA with leadership exposure.
2+ years leading QA assessments as Lead Auditor.
Experience with nuclear quality systems NQA-1, DOE 414.1D/F, and 10 CFR 830.
Experience implementing QA requirements in procurement and supplier evaluation.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the N3B Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
Guide a team of QA professionals conducting assessments, supplier evaluations, and field surveillances.
Ensure deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget per ASME NQA-1 and DOE/10 CFR 830.
Develop and monitor KPI metrics to drive QAP improvements.
Oversee field surveillance and procurement QA activities for conformity to requirements.
Manage nonconformance reporting programs and corrective actions.
Track training and qualification of personnel in QA topics.
Support field operations with QA oversight and safety compliance.
