Job summary

Longenecker & Associates, a Geosyntec Company, seeks a Receipt Inspector to contribute to DOE-related missions in Los Alamos, NM. The role focuses on ensuring product quality through scheduled inspections that comply with NQA-1 and other regulatory criteria.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of inspection-related experience; a high school diploma is required, and U.S. citizenship is expected for federal clearance considerations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Basic knowledge of 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, DOE Order 414.1F, ASME NQA-1 standards, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and how they are applied.
• Experience with inspection principles and practices.
• Experience in reviewing quality documentation for compliance with requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication with all levels of customers and management.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation to obtain DOE Q clearance if required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality through receipt inspections per customer criteria and nuclear facility requirements.
• Plan, perform, and report results; support supplier evaluation and nonconformance reporting.
• Assist customer organizations on quality assurance issues and activities.
• Support project planning meetings and schedule discussions related to receipt inspections.
