Job summary

The Lead Auditor at Construction Material Testing owns the audit program under our nuclear QA framework, planning the annual schedule, leading internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, writing reports, and verifying corrective actions to closure.

Travel to project sites and supplier facilities is required; you will interface with licensee quality organizations and maintain independence and qualification records.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualify within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audit experience.
• Auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end and supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend changes to the approved supplier list and perform surveillances.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
