Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Santa Clara-based AGS Training Service Etch New Product (NPI) Instructor. The role blends technical instruction with hands-on expertise on PLC/NPI products, embedded in the BU to develop and deliver initial classroom and lab training for new tool deployments.

Travel up to 40-50% and collaboration with product groups to keep courses current. Bachelor degree in engineering or education plus 4 years of semiconductor equipment experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training.
  • 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • 2 years of formal or informal experience in education or training delivery to external customers is desirable and required to attain FKA instructional Developer within the first year.

Responsibilities

  • Conduces semiconductor equipment training needs assessment and develops course materials.
  • Communicates with product groups for current information and updates training content.
  • Lead NPI training development projects and create hardware training guides.
