Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Santa Clara (SCLA)-based New Product Instructor who combines technical training with product expertise. You will develop and deliver classroom and hands-on courses for PLC/NPI tools, aligning with product groups and updating content as new chambers and mainframes evolve.

The role requires bachelor-level engineering/education training plus 4 years in semiconductor equipment; travel up to 50% and strong ISD-based teaching skills are expected to thrive in a dynamic BU

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training, PLUS 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Preparation and delivery of classroom and hands-on training using ISD methods.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI training development projects and create hardware training materials.
Deliver training in house and at customer sites; manage classroom/lab activities.
Coordinate training needs assessment and update courses with current product information.
Ensure safety compliance and proper certification requirements are met.
Travel up to 40–50% domestically and internationally.
