Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is hiring Manufacturing Engineers to own the manufacturing launch and drive process improvements for Nitro SSDs. You will work with ODMs, CMs and internal AWS teams to scale production, improve yield, and resolve reliability issues across global suppliers.

This is a fast-paced, multi-platform environment that drives innovation in cloud storage hardware. You will lead manufacturing workflow optimization, participate in design-for-manufacturability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with storage drives, server platforms or high-tech hardware.
• 2+ years of product development experience.
• 2+ years of statistical analysis and reliability testing (JEDEC standards, accelerated life testing).
• Experience with failure analysis techniques to evaluate production and field failures, driving root cause analysis and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize product designs for quality assurance and manufacturing efficiency of SSDs and their integration with servers and rack systems.
