Job summary
Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own the hardware launch and resolve process issues across global suppliers. You will drive manufacturing quality, yield improvements, and reliability for SSD/NAND devices, partnering with CM/ODM and internal teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience with storage drives or server hardware.
- Experience with failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
- Familiarity with hardware bring-up and reliability concepts.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimize designs for manufacturing quality and efficiency of SSDs and server integration.
- Scale up manufacturing on new SSD products across a global network.
- Lead and oversee quality control across CM/ODM and suppliers.
- Provide hands-on support during new product introductions and launches.
- Investigate escalations via root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop hardware reliability plans and analyze AFR and DPPM impacts.
- Coordinate ORR and Ok2Ship readiness for manufacturing sites.
