Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to enhance quality and efficiency of AWS storage hardware in a global manufacturing environment.

You will own manufacturing launches, resolve process issues, and drive hardware development innovations with ODMs, CMs, and internal teams. 3+ years in manufacturing engineering and Six Sigma experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with storage drives, server platforms, or high-tech hardware.
• 2+ years of product development experience.
• 2+ years of statistical analysis and reliability testing experience.
• Experience with failure analysis techniques and driving root cause analysis.
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
• Experience working with device technologies under development.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Experience with project management of technical projects.

Responsibilities
