Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Chicago invites graduates to join a two-year NPI engineering program designed to grow technical breadth and leadership through multi-site exposure and hands-on launches.

Relocation to sites such as Appleton, Boise, Chicago and Neenah for 3–12 months, with mentorship from the NPI Engineering Leader and SME teams to develop product, process, and quality competencies. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and be prepared for a fast-paced, global environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Ideal candidates may have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering, but other technical backgrounds will be considered.
• This program is designed for engineers that have a drive to deliver results in a fast paced environment, are open to inter-disciplinary assignments, and interested in developing subject matter expertise for new product introductions.

Responsibilities

• Relocate to manufacturing sites for NPI program support.
• Provide on-the-ground technical support within the CFT team.
• Contribute to NPI focus areas including Product/Process/Supplier Quality/Quality/Test Engineering.
• Mentorship and development through NPI leaders and SMEs.
• Identify and implement process improvements and share best practices with NPI teams.
