Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking engineers for a two-year NPI-focused program that includes multi-site exposure across key manufacturing sites in the U.S.

You will participate in rapid development of new products, support launch phases, and relocate to sites such as Boise, Appleton, Chicago, and Neenah for defined periods. The role emphasizes hands-on technical support, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring from NPI leaders to build SME capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Ideal candidates may have Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering backgrounds; other technical backgrounds will be considered.
• Program designed for engineers to deliver results in a fast-paced environment and to develop SME expertise for NPI launches.

Responsibilities

• Relocate to key manufacturing sites (Appleton WI, Boise ID, Chicago IL, Neenah WI) for temporary assignments (3–12 months) tied to NPI program needs.
• Provide immediate, on-the-ground technical support by integrating with the CFT and reporting to the site NPI Engineering Leader.
• Contribute to NPI focus areas: Product/Process/ Supplier Quality/ Quality/ Test Engineering as priorities dictate.
• Mentorship from NPI Engineering Leader and SMEs to rapidly develop technical and professional skills.
• Identify and implement process improvements and share best practices with NPI and SME teams.
