Job summary

ITW's Global Tool Unit (GTU) is seeking an experienced NPI Project Manager to lead new product implementations from concept through launch. You will guide cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with customer and business objectives.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or related field is required, with 3+ years in product development and 2+ years managing cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience with structured product development and launch processes.
• APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MOI, or related quality and launch methodologies preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes including machining, casting, molding, stamping, or assembly operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive New Product Implementation (NPI) projects from concept through product launch.
• Lead cross-functional teams, set priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and risk management plans.
• Identify risks early, resolve issues, and drive decisions to keep momentum.
• Lead phase-gate reviews, launch readiness, and cross-functional meetings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, and external suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier activities, prototype builds, validation, and production preparation.
• Support quality planning activities including APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, validation testing.
• Communicate status to leadership and stakeholders with clarity.
