Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a Program Manager to drive execution excellence and operational efficiency for new product introductions and product transfers. You will lead a cross-functional team across engineering, supply chain, and quality to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while managing capital and cost-improvement projects.

The role requires strong leadership, APQP/NPI experience, and the ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years in program management or engineering within medical device, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with customers, sales/marketing, and operations preferred.
• Experience in medical device or aerospace and defense manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in a contract manufacturer or job shop environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply APQP, Stage/Gate, and other NPI processes to deliver a project per customer requirements.
• Ensure project results meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
• Lead programs from development through testing, certification and production.
• Plan, execute, and deliver programs on time and within budget.
• Maintain program schedules, resources, risks, and financial forecasts.
• Organize and update project information for transparency and visibility.
• Complete and report on project risk assessment.
• Clarify gaps between internal and customer teams and drive for clarity.
• Complete required project documentation and communications.
• Lead team meetings and coordinate across engineering, supply chain, and quality to keep the project on track.
• Interface with customer project teams in meetings and reviews.
• Participate in Mission Control for NPIs.
• Identify risks and drive solutions and consensus with Tecomet and customer teams.
• Escalate barriers to Director of NPI and Site Leader.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities within NPI processes.
