Itron, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager for New Product Introduction in Austin, TX. You will lead hardware program delivery from concept to production, coordinating manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and R&D to ensure successful launches.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, process improvement using Kaizen/Lean/Scrum, risk management, and data-driven decision making. A strong engineering background and stakeholder communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical engineering experience.
• Proven program management experience in hardware or manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of PCBAs, semiconductor components, and box-build assemblies.
• Experience with Kaizen, Scrum, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and high visibility environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead NPI programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring readiness and quality.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, Global Operations, and Finance to implement resiliency measures.
• Apply Kaizen, Lean, and Agile methods to optimize processes and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance across mechanical, electrical, or industrial domains.
• Identify program risks and implement proactive mitigation plans.
• Deliver timely updates to stakeholders through reports and meetings.
• Ensure activities align with customer expectations and organizational values.
• Develop contingency plans, dual sourcing strategies, and alternative supply routes with suppliers.
• Monitor supply chain performance using data analytics to drive resiliency.
