Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager for New Product Introduction to lead complex hardware programs from initiation through delivery.

You will collaborate across Product BUs, R&D, operations and finance, applying Kaizen, Scrum and Lean to optimize processes and mitigate risks. The role requires strong technical knowledge of PCBAs and box-build assemblies, plus excellent communication across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven program management experience in hardware or manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of PCBAs, semiconductor components, and box-build assemblies.
• Experience with Kaizen, Scrum, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and high visibility environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI programs from initiation through delivery.
• Collaborate with Product BUs, R&D, Product Marketing, Global Operations: procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality control, Finance to implement resiliency measures.
• Apply Kaizen, Lean, and Agile methodologies to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
• Provide guidance leveraging hands-on engineering experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial domains.
• Identify program risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure progress.
• Deliver timely updates to stakeholders through reports and meetings.
