Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Project Manager to drive NPI and sustaining projects from concept through production launch. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, maintain schedules, and track budgets in a matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate combines technical curiosity with proactive communication and experience in hardware or analytical product development. Onsite travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with engineering, manufacturing, and quality stakeholders.
• Technical proficiency in engineering or analytical product development preferred.
• Familiarity with stage-gate or similar processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of multiple projects across the product development lifecycle.
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business teams to drive milestones.
• Build and maintain project schedules with dependency tracking.
• Track financials, including budget consumption and variance reporting.
• Lead project status at gate reviews with clear risk communication.
• Maintain documentation to ISO quality system requirements.
• Identify resource conflicts and frame escalations with recommended actions.
• Support project prioritization with up-to-date data.
