Job summary

Itron is seeking a Sr. Program Manager– New Product Introduction to lead operational excellence for hardware programs from concept through production, including pilot builds, industrialization, and manufacturing transfer.

You will coordinate across manufacturing engineering, procurement, logistics, supply chain, EMS/contract manufacturing partners, product management, and R&D in a fast-paced environment at the forefront of innovative grid management solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven hardware/manufacturing program management experience.
• Strong knowledge of PCBAs, semiconductors, and box-build assemblies.
• Experience with Kaizen, Scrum, Lean and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI programs from initiation through delivery, including pilot builds and industrialization.
• Collaborate across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and partners to ensure readiness.
• Maintain program status and risks; deliver portfolio-level reporting to leadership.
• Apply Lean and Agile methods to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical oversight across mechanical, electrical, or industrial domains.
