Job summary

Molex LLC in Hudson, Wisconsin is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Technician to support development, implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.

You will work with NPI Engineers, Process Engineers, Design Engineers, Quality, and Manufacturing to build prototypes, validate processes, document steps, and train operators for smooth production transfers.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or technical environment.
• Experience following detailed work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing, equipment, or process-related issues.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of manufacturing process flows, work instructions, visual aids, and workmanship standards.
• Build prototypes and pilot production assemblies while documenting steps and observations.
• Support process development by collecting data, performing tests, and reporting results to the engineering team.
• Assist in training operators on new products, equipment, and processes.
• Support implementation of new products within the low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Perform process audits to ensure compliance with procedures and workmanship requirements.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and identify root causes with engineering and production teams.
