Job summary

Molex is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Technician to join our Hudson, WI team. You will support development, documentation, and improvement of manufacturing processes for new and existing products, collaborating with NPI Engineers, Process Engineers, Design Engineers, Quality, and Manufacturing to build prototypes and transition to production.

Qualifications

1+ years experience in manufacturing, production, lab, or technical environment.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and read engineering drawings.
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing, equipment, or process issues.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain manufacturing process flows, work instructions, visual aids, and workmanship standards.
Build prototypes and pilot production assemblies; document steps and observations.
Support process development by collecting data, performing tests, and reporting results to engineering.
Train operators on new products, equipment, and processes.
Support implementation of new products in low-volume manufacturing.
Perform process audits to ensure compliance with procedures and workmanship requirements.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and work with engineering and production teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Assist with PFMEA, process validation, DOE, and documentation updates.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, fixtures, and tooling used in prototype and production builds.
Assist with equipment qualifications and data collection activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Production.
