Job summary

Safari Circuits, LLC. is seeking an Advanced Operations Engineer in Otsego, MI. The role leads NPI and process development, serving as the technical interface between customers, program management, and manufacturing to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in electronics manufacturing, with knowledge of IPC standards and experience in regulated environments (medical, aerospace, defense).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in electronics manufacturing with NPI experience.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI and process development to transition concepts to production.
• Interface between customers, program management, and manufacturing.
• Develop process flows, work instructions, and tooling needs.
• Support first builds, pilot runs, and ramp-up; drive yield improvements.
