Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer focused on PCBA to drive manufacturability, process readiness, and ramp activities across global partners. The role collaborates with R&D, Quality, and Operations to deliver reliable PCBAs and optimize cost and lead times.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in electronics manufacturing, strong PCBA process knowledge, and experience guiding NPI from prototype to production ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline; Master's preferred.
• 4–6 years of electronics manufacturing experience with significant NPI for complex PCBA and electronic systems.
• Experience with OEM product development teams and/or EMS partners.
• Experience leading NPI from prototype to production ramp; strong PCBA process knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering representative on NPI teams for complex PCBA products from concept to ramp.
• Lead DFM reviews to ensure PCBAs meet manufacturing, quality, reliability and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with R&D, Signal Integrity, PCB suppliers, Test, Quality and Operations to optimize manufacturability and testability.
• Support PCB stack-up development and manufacturing requirements with design and supplier teams.
• Coordinate with internal and outsourced partners to ensure successful product launches and readiness.
• Evaluate prototype builds and early production runs to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
