Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer (PCBA) to partner with R&D, supply chain, quality, test engineering and manufacturing to introduce new products into volume production. You will lead DFM reviews, drive manufacturability improvements, and coordinate with global suppliers to optimize yield, cycle time and cost. This is a hybrid role requiring about two days per week in an HPE office.
Qualifications
Experience leading NPI from prototype through production ramp.
Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and technologies.
Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, supply chain, quality and EMS partners.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering representative on NPI teams for complex PCBA-based products from concept through production ramp and sustaining.
Lead DFM reviews to ensure PCBAs meet manufacturing, quality, reliability, and cost objectives.
Collaborate with R&D, signal integrity, PCB suppliers, test engineering, quality, and operations to optimize designs for manufacturability and testability.
Coordinate and lead activities with internal teams and outsourced manufacturing partners for successful product launches.
Evaluate prototype builds and early production runs, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
