Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer (PCBA) to partner with R&D, Supply Chain, and factories to introduce new PCBAs into volume production. The role emphasizes design for manufacturing, process readiness, prototype builds, and ramp activities for complex PCBA programs.

You will lead manufacturability assessments, work with global suppliers, and drive quality, yield, and cost improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 4–6 years in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience supporting NPI programs for complex PCBAs and electronic systems.
• Proven ability to work with OEM/EMS partners and guide prototypes to production ramp.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities for complex PCBA products from concept through ramp and sustaining.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews to meet cost, quality and reliability goals.
• Collaborate with R&D, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize manufacturability.
• Support PCB stack-up development and manufacturing requirements with design teams.
• Coordinate with internal and outsourced partners to ensure production readiness.
• Analyze yields, defects, and process data to drive improvements.
• Lead DOE studies and critical parameter validation for processes.
