Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing development for NPI programs across sheet metal, machining, die casting, plastic injection molding, extrusion, and assemblies. The role requires collaboration with Mechanical Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability, quality and cost objectives.
The Hybrid role involves working from an HPE office about 2 days per week and up to 20% travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering required.
- 4–6 years of Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering/NPI experience.
- Experience with fabrication processes: sheet metal, CNC, die casting, injection molding, extrusion, assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Lead MME activities for NPI from concept to production ramp.
- Optimize designs with DFM/DFA for manufacturability and cost.
- Develop processes for sheet metal, machining, casting, molding, extrusion.
- Collaborate with suppliers and CM/ODM partners to establish high-yield processes.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
