Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Project Manager for the NPI Operations team in North Reading. You will lead project strategy across Supply Chain, Cost, Planning, Buying, and Manufacturing processes and drive high-volume product introductions.

You will coordinate with Design Engineering, Test Development, Supply Base Management, and Operations to ensure timely transfers to low-cost region manufacturers and a successful ramp of semiconductor devices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in an Operations role, including inventory, capacity, material gathering, engineering, and finance aspects of manufacturing and outsourcing.
• Experience in a highly agile environment with attention to detail and broad vision.
• Ability to work without supervision and communicate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the project strategy for Supply Chain, Cost, Planning, Buying, Manufacturing processes and high volume product introduction.
• Manage the NPI team strategy for multi-level BOMs for complex electro-mechanical products.
• Oversee project headcount, spend, schedule, and risk management.
• Represent the Operations NPI team on Core project teams to enable deliverables, escalations, and risks at project level.
• Coordinate NPI activities with Design Engineering, Supply Base Management, Test Development Engineering and Operations for smooth product transfer.
• Plan and implement production transfer strategies to low-cost region contract manufacturers.
• Ensure development deliverables enable smooth transfer of New Product to High Volume team.
