Job summary

Teradyne seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support New Product Introduction from design through high-volume transfer. You will ensure manufacturability, build readiness, and scalable production, working with Design, Test, Quality, Supply Chain, and global partners.

Your role focuses on manufacturing documentation, process definitions, and hands-on support during prototype and ramp events, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience supporting NPI programs and transferring products to production.
Influencing product design through DFM, DFA, or DFT reviews.
Hands-on experience creating production work instructions, test instructions, process specifications, drawings, and training materials.
Ability to work across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI programs from concept to production transfer and ramp.
Provide input on DFM, DFA, and DFT in design reviews.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and process specs.
Ensure documentation is configuration controlled and ready for internal and outsourced sites.
Lead knowledge transfer to contract manufacturers and partner sites.
Drive continuous improvement using production data.
