Zusammenfassung

Pentair plc in Apex, NC seeks an experienced NPI Mechanical Engineer to lead the end-to-end process of launching new products from design to production. You will drive manufacturability, scalability, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with NPD, design, supply chain, quality and operations to implement DFM, DFA and DFT, plan pilot builds, and refine processes, work instructions, and line layouts using Lean tools.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years in NPI engineering within high-volume manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes development, capacity planning, and production line scaling.

Aufgaben

Lead end-to-end NPI process from product development to manufacturing.
Drive DFM, DFA, DFT with cross-functional teams.
Plan pilot builds, pre-production runs, and full ramp-up.
Develop scalable manufacturing processes and line layouts using Lean.
Lead PFMEA activities and cost, quality, and delivery targets.
