Pentair in Apex, NC is seeking an experienced NPI Mechanical Engineer to drive product introductions from design to full production. You will lead manufacturability improvements, DFMA/DFT efforts, and cross-functional collaboration with design, quality, and supply chain teams.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and at least 5 years in NPI for high-volume manufacturing; travel up to 25% is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of NPI engineering in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with DFMA/DFT, lean, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end NPI process from development to production handoff.
• Plan pilot builds, pre-production runs, and ramp-up activities to ensure readiness for production.
• Develop scalable manufacturing processes, work instructions, and line layouts aligned with Lean principles.
• Drive PFMEA activities and cross-functional problem solving.
