Job summary
Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Industrialization Manager to lead NPI manufacturing engineering delivery across new product introductions and supplier programs. Requires 7+ years in manufacturing engineering and engineering credentials; U.S. citizenship.
Qualifications
- Requires engineering or technology degree with 7+ years in Manufacturing Engineering for Quality.
- Experience with NPI, supplier readiness, and manufacturing readiness.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP.
Responsibilities
- Leads Manufacturing Engineering delivery for new product introduction - planning priorities, resources and evidence against program milestones.
- Influences product and process design - ensuring manufacturability, quality, cost and industrial requirements are addressed early.
- Integrates technical delivery across programs and suppliers - establishing clear ownership and interfaces across Engineering, Quality and Procurement.
- Governs manufacturing and industrialization risk - providing clear status, recommendations, escalation and recovery action.
- Provides the Manufacturing Engineering readiness recommendation - assessing capability, capacity, process control, quality planning and production readiness through governance.
- Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP and PPAP - building confidence in design maturity, process readiness and successful production introduction.
