Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, on-site role under a 9/80 schedule. This position is GG10 level with relocation available and requires strong engineering fundamentals.

You will drive health, safety, and environmental standards, ensure design intent is met, and continuously improve manufacturing processes. The role offers growth in a high-performance culture within a world-known brand.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in STEM or Engineering/Technology and 4+ years in a manufacturing environment, or
Bachelor's Degree in STEM or Engineering/Technology with 2+ years in manufacturing, or
Master’s Degree in STEM or Engineering/Technology, or
PhD in STEM or Engineering/Technology
US Citizen status is required

Responsibilities

HSE: ensure manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and Zero Harm expectations.
Product Safety: ensure processes meet design intent and address safety issues.
Quality: drive zero defects and Right First Time, comply with policies and standards.
Develop capability: improve processes, data capture and analysis for current/future capability.
New Part Introduction from wax tooling through casting development.
Apply PFMEAs, control plans, MSA with Lean practices and yield improvement.
Develop processes suitable for SPC and related techniques, as needed
Monitor machinery performance and initiate corrective actions for quality.
Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts to optimize equipment and methods
