Job summary

Formlabs in Boston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive readiness for new product introductions. You will collaborate with R&D to translate prototypes into robust production processes and partner with contract manufacturers and suppliers.

You will champion DFM/DFA, establish production readiness, and lead process control improvements using factory data to ensure quality and reliability across global supply chain.

Qualifications

B.S. in engineering or related field required.
Experience with NPI and manufacturing processes.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10–20%.

Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing readiness across NPI teams with R&D.
Lead DFM and DFA for product, system, and process design.
Industrialize and prepare production with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
Ensure product specs via processes and control points.
Collaborate cross functionally on engineering and operational challenges.
Drive process control and continuous improvement using factory data.
